Extensive preparations are underway at Bageshwar Dham ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on February 23
Chhatarpur: In anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival on February 23, Bageshwar Dham is undergoing extensive preparations. Authorities and organizers are making every effort, from seating and community service to security precautions.

“We are eagerly waiting for that historic moment on 23 February,” said Bageshwar Dham Sarkar Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, who was looking forward to the historic event. There are good preparations in place. Three lakh square feet have been covered with a tent. In 6-7 locations, parking arrangements have been arranged. There are four entrance and exit gates in place. There is seating for between 80,000 and 1 lakh people. For the community, the Bageshwar Janseva Samiti has also organized a 24-hour ‘bhandara’ (free meals).
“After PM Narendra Modi offers prayers at the Balaji Temple, for the first time, we will have a hospital in the temple instead of the temple in a hospital,” he said, highlighting a novel concept. The prime minister’s arrival has resulted in increased security.
In an explanation of the plans, SP Chhatarpur, Agam Jain, stated, “Plans are on for PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Bageshwar Dham. They have summoned the extra troops from Bhopal. Over 2,500 people have been sent out. The media is often used to communicate changes to routes and other arrangements.
“People have been informed of the assigned parking locations. For crowd management, we are holding frequent meetings with top officers present,” he said.
In order to lay the cornerstone for a cancer hospital, PM Modi will go to Bageshwar Dham.
Mohan Yadav, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, visited the Maharaja Chhatrasal Convention Center in Khajuraho on Monday to review the arrangements.
“I came here to see the setup. Although this is a house of worship, it would be morally right if individuals received treatment here for severe illnesses like cancer. “Congratulations to all of you,” CM Yadav said to reporters.
CM Yadav said, “The opening of the Cancer Hospital will take place. Madhya Pradesh is being visited by PM Modi. He’s welcome. I met with the authorities to discuss the preparations. Additionally, PM Modi will provide his advice about the Global Investors Summit. We will profit from PM Modi’s visit.
