Thiruvananthapuram: An Air India aircraft from Mumbai got a threat on Thursday, prompting the Thiruvananthapuram airport to declare a complete emergency amid an increase in bomb scare incidents around the country, according to sources cited by media.
According to the agency, the aircraft was placed in isolation bay while the passengers were evacuated.
According to sources who spoke to media, there were 135 people on board. Further information on the threat’s origins and other specifics are still pending.
