During the Bhopal demonstration, the stage collapsed, injuring several Congress leaders and workers
Bhopal: During their protest on Monday, a stage collapsed in Bhopal, injuring a number of Congress officials and workers. People rushed to bring the wounded leaders to safety when the stage collapsed, leaving some of them lying on the ground.

In response to concerns about farmers, Madhya Pradesh Congress workers earlier Monday organized a large-scale demonstration in the state capital of Bhopal.
The demonstration, which took place at the state capital’s Rang Mahal Square, was attended by State Congress President Jitu Patwari, Leader of the Opposition (LoP) Umang Singhar, MLA Sachin Yadav, and a number of other party employees.
The police deployed water cannons to scatter the party activists as they were en route to gheraoing the state legislature.
“The Congress party is responsible for protesting against the BJP, which made promises to women, farmers, and the state’s youth,” Congress president Patwari told reporters. We protested today because we believe the state government ought to set the Minimum Support Price (MSP) at Rs 3100 per quintal for rice, Rs 2700 per quintal for wheat, and Rs 6000 per quintal for wheat. Despite being from the state, the Union Agriculture Minister does not discuss MSP.
He stated that the Congress party has taken the decision to go to every Mandi and stage demonstrations with the farmers if the promises made at the time about the acquisition of rice and wheat are not fulfilled.
The Congress said that, “State Congress’s farmers wing will continue this movement in every mandi where crop procurement takes place in the state for the next two months.”
In the interest of the farmers, LoP Umang Singhar said that the Congress party is on their side and that the battle would continue from the road to the state parliament.
“I would want to know why the Kisan Sangh, which is affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and works to win over farmers to the BJP in elections, has not kept its word even after a year in power. Fake demonstrations were organized by Kisan Sangh. However, Singhar said that the Congress is on the side of the farmers and will fight for them from the road to the house.
