Dimple Yadav said this when Rahul Gandhi-led delegation was stopped while going to Sambhal

Samajwadi Party leader Dimple Yadav stated that the Uttar Pradesh government is aware that if a delegation from any party visits Sambhal, it will reveal the truth, following the arrest of Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders Priyanka Gandhi Vadra at the Ghazipur border while they were en route to the violent Sambhal.

The Delhi-Meerut Expressway halted the Congress leaders at the Ghazipur border. As the Congress leaders’ convoy arrived at the border, barricades were erected across the route, halting traffic.

“The administration and government are attempting to hide it. They do not want for things to return to normal. They are aware that the truth would be exposed if the group visits and interacts with locals,” Dimple Yadav told the reporters.

Akhilesh Yadav, a member of the Samajwadi Party, also accused the Sambhal administration of acting on BJP orders and questioned the BJP government about what they were trying to conceal in the Sambhal affair.

“What is the BJP government trying to conceal? Everyone, including the Samajwadi Party, has claimed from day one that the BJP is behind everything the Sambhal government has done.Delegations from any party are not permitted to go to Sambhal. What do they want to conceal? stated Akhilesh Yadav.
Supriya Shrinate, a leader of the Meanwehile Congress, said that Rahul Gandhi only want to meet with the relatives of those killed in the Sambhal riots.

“Mp Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, LoP Rahul Gandhi, and other party leaders wanted to go to Sambhal. Rahul Gandhi was also prepared to go to Sambhal by himself in the government vehicle. He also spoke to the DGP, but they are still being stopped by the government and police. We’re starting to wonder what they’re attempting to conceal because of this.

He won’t do anything wrong in Sambhal, in my opinion. All he wants to do is meet the victims’ relatives. A number of concerns are raised against the UP government and police if a resolution cannot be achieved even after consulting with the DGP, Shrinate said.

On November 24, as the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) was inspecting a mosque from the Mughal period, violence broke out in the Sambhal area. Four people were killed and other police officers and residents were injured in the skirmishes.

Following a petition in a local court asserting that the mosque’s location was formerly a Harihar temple, the ASI assessment was conducted.
