Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed grief over the loss of lives in the ADB road accident
In addition to expressing sorrow for the deaths in the ADB traffic tragedy, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan stated on Monday that each of the families affected will get an ex-gratia payment of Rs 5 lakh.
In the Kakinada district of Andhra Pradesh, two persons lost their lives on Saturday when their bike collided with a speeding car. Manikantha and Thokada Charan have been recognized as the dead.
“We will provide each of the grieving families Rs 5 lakh in financial support on behalf of the Jana Sena Party. According to an official statement from Pawan Kalyan’s office, “I have also directed my office officials to make sure that the government provides the families with sufficient support.”
The news of this occurrence is really upsetting. On Saturday evening, the dead, Mr. Thokada Charan and Mr. Arava Manikantha, from Gaigolupadu in the Kakinada district, were riding a two-wheeler back to their homes. Unfortunately, they died too soon when their bike was struck by a fast car. I send my deepest sympathies to Mr. Manikantha’s and Mr. Charan’s families,” the statement said.
Former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy came under fire from Pawan Kalyan for failing to rebuild the ADB road, a crucial link connecting Kakinada and Rajamahendravaram.
“A vital route for transit between Kakinada and Rajamahendravaram is the ADB road. This road’s renovation and extension were ignored by the previous administration, which also refused to perform even basic maintenance.
“The ADB road has begun to be repaired and rebuilt by the coalition administration. This unfortunate event that occurred during the restoration process, however, is very upsetting. The fact that the dead were on their way home from the Game Changer pre-release event when the disaster happened is particularly tragic. Paradoxically, the program had repeatedly urged guests to drive cautiously, emphasizing road safety,” the announcement said.
