Delhi’s only ever leader to work for the underprivileged is Kejriwal: Chief Minister Atishi
New Delhi: During his campaign for the next Delhi Assembly Polls, AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said that Arvind Kejriwal, the party’s national convener and previous Delhi Chief Minister, was the first politician in Delhi history to fight for the underprivileged.
She emphasized the AAP administration’s efforts in the field of education during her campaign trail in the national capital’s Tilak Nagar neighborhood, asserting that government schools provide superior amenities than private ones.
“Arvind Kejriwal has been working for the average Delhi citizen for the last 10 years since he was appointed Chief Minister of Delhi… “Arvind Kejriwal is the only leader in Delhi’s history who has worked for the poor people of Delhi,” she remarked.
“Delhi is the only city where electricity is available 24 hours a day… 10 years ago, there were no facilities in government schools in Delhi, but after our government was formed, better facilities are being provided in government schools than private schools, and our children are taking admission in IITs and medical colleges by clearing competitive exams,” stated Atishi.
“We hope that the people of Tilak Nagar will again support the AAP government in Delhi like you did in 2013, 2015, and 2020 in the upcoming polls in February,” Atishi said, reiterating her call to action.
Notably, Jarnail Singh has been selected by the AAP as their candidate for the assembly seat in Tilak Nagar.
