Images from Anand Vihar, India Gate, and Connaught Place revealed a dense layer of fog enveloping the whole region.

Locals who are impacted by the sharp rise in pollution levels said that a number of problems may be resolved with government assistance.

“We can’t breathe properly because of the excessive pollution. The government must take action in this regard. A bicycle at the India Gate told the media that the situation is worse for the elderly and laborers who are unable to work due to the present circumstances.

According to another pedestrian, the government needs to try to switch to electric vehicles and research more advanced stubble burning solutions.

“The government needs to improve the automobiles and attempt to switch to electric vehicles for the present mode of transportation. The pedestrian stated, “The government should also learn about better technologies for stubble burning.”

According to Amol, a school kid, the problematic scenario was exacerbated by the people’s lack of responsibility.

“If the government begins acting more effectively, the increasing pollution might be managed effectively. The dust is a major issue here in addition to the pollution. The fact that people are beginning to adjust to this scenario is concerning. The government-imposed regulations are not subject to accountability. Additionally, our people must begin taking responsibility for the circumstances,” he said.

AQI values fall into one of the following categories: acceptable (zero to fifty), satisfactory (51 to 100), moderate (101 to 200), poor (201 to 300), extremely poor (301 to 400), and severe (401 to 500).
