Delhi Police arrested a Bangladeshi nationals living illegally and sent him back to Bangladesh
New Delhi: After a verification drive conducted by the employees of the Vasant Kunj South Police Station in the South West District, a Bangladeshi person who was living in the nation’s capital illegally was caught and sent back to Bangladesh.
Through the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), the illegal immigrant, known as Md. Bablu, who lived in Demra village in Dhaka, Bangladesh, was sent back to Bangladesh.
Officials said they responded to a report about an unauthorized Bangladeshi national in the neighborhood during Tuesday’s evening patrol. After receiving the information, the crew hurried to the location and stopped Bablu.
The South West District Police have stepped up their attempts to find, apprehend, and return anyone living in the capital without proper Indian documentation in response to growing concerns over the unapproved stay of migrants, notably Bangladeshi nationals.
To find illegal immigrants, a crew was sent out to do exhaustive searches and collect information. Effective vigilance and preventive actions against illicit activities were ensured by the team’s rigorous training for both day and night patrols.
According to an official, Delhi police have discovered around 25 “illegal” immigrants from Bangladesh and have begun the process of deporting them back to their place of origin.
According to Madhup Tiwari of the Special Commission of Police Law and Order, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena ordered the effort to identify “illegal” immigrants from Bangladesh.
“We have initiated a campaign in which we are identifying and deporting illegal immigrants in accordance with the LG’s directive. We have already discovered over 25 of these illegal aliens in Zone 2, the southern zone, and we have begun the deportation process.
“We had a huge success in the South district at the same time, where we busted a racket where we not only discovered their route to India, but we also apprehended the individuals involved, who used to illegally create their Aadhar cards here,” Tiwari told the media report.
