Delhi Police arrested 4 more people in Narayana murder case

New Delhi: According to sources on Monday, Delhi Police have detained a juvenile and arrested four more people in relation to the murder of 36-year-old Manoj in the Naraina area.

Because one of the juvenile defendants was previously connected to the death of Manoj’s younger brother, Pramod, a few months earlier, the case has garnered attention.

According to authorities, the following people have been arrested: Md. Akhtar, 62; Md. Maksood, 49; Angoori, 35; and Juhi Khatoon, 34, who is Md. Maksood’s wife.

Based on information and evidence acquired throughout the inquiry, the police team is trying to determine the whole chain of events that led up to the incident and is investigating the possibility that additional people were engaged in the plot.

Notably, three minors have been detained so far, and four people have been arrested in total. According to sources, Delhi Police arrested two minors on Sunday for the suspected murder of 36-year-old Manoj in the vicinity of the Naraina police station.

According to authorities, one of the young people in custody was reportedly engaged in the death of Manoj’s younger brother a few months before.

DCP West Vichitra Veer told ANI, “Manoj, who passed away, was around 36 years old. On Saturday night, he was fatally stabbed in a park near the Naraina police station. In this situation, two kids have been taken into custody and are now being questioned.

A few months ago, Pramod, Manoj’s younger brother, was also killed. The 15-year-old juvenile who was arrested for Manoj’s murder was also responsible for Pramod’s death. The motivation for the murder is being investigated.

Manoj’s sister-in-law, Pramod’s wife, stated, “I learned yesterday that my brother-in-law, Manoj, had been fatally stabbed. My brother-in-law, Manoj, was a witness in the murder of my husband, Pramod, a few months ago. My husband observed a girl from our neighborhood with a guy a while back. He shared it with the girl’s parents. The kid became enraged and murdered Pramod with his companion. In court, Manoj was defending the matter. Now, the same child has also murdered Manoj.

According to police, Manoj’s family protested on Sunday night, blocking the road in the Naraina neighborhood and calling for the guilty to face harsh consequences. More information is anticipated and an investigation is still in progress.
