Delhi Excise Policy Case: Court gave this direction to CBI
A list of unrelied papers and other documents must be filed by the following date, according to a directive issued by the Rouse Avenue court on Friday.
The Delhi Excise policy case has been postponed until December 13.
AAP leader Manish Sisodia, BRS leader K Kavitha, former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, and other defendants participated in a video conference.
The CBI was instructed to submit the list of papers by Special Judge Kaveri Baweja.
In response to accused parties’ claims that they were not provided with certain papers pertaining to notifications sent to the witness and documents they received, the court issued a directive.
The CBI has previously argued that the accused cannot see these records since they are part of the case diary.
The CBI said at the hearing that the list will be filed by the next hearing date.
The Delhi liquor policy that was abandoned is at the heart of this lawsuit. In this instance, Manish Sisodia and Arvind Kejriwal were taken into custody. The Supreme Court granted them bail.
