Delhi Chief Minister Atishi accused Arvind Kejriwal of plotting against her and said this
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said Thursday that Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), was the target of a plot and that his detention was made in order to halt his job as chief minister.
The Delhi Chief Minister said, “Arvind Kejriwal got out of prison and all the work is being done on a “war footing.” He also mentioned that the cabinet meeting had made a number of decisions, one of which was to relaunch the Electric Vehicle (EV) program, which would help reduce pollution.
“The Delhi AAP administration has been serving the people of Delhi in every capacity for the last ten years. By implementing new, creative regulations, the Delhi administration has also been attempting to make the city ultra-modern. Arvind Kejriwal was jailed after a plot to thwart his work was planned by rival parties after they failed to achieve this in their states. Following that, pensions, salary, and even the discharge of waste water were halted, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said during a news conference.
Delhi recorded 12% of EV cars between 2023 and 2024, which is double the national average, according to CM Atishi. She further said that when Kejriwal was imprisoned, the EV policy was discontinued.
Arvind Kejriwal was imprisoned, and the EV policy was also hindered. There has been no EV subsidy or road tax exemption for the last 10 months. The Delhi government’s cabinet resolved today to implement an EV strategy. The EV policy has been extended until March 30, 2025, according to CM Atishi.
“Anyone who has bought an electric vehicle after January 1, 2024, will get subsidy and the road tax exemption will be available again on new EVs,” she said.
The Delhi SC/ST/OBC/Minority and Handicapped Finance & Development Corporation Limited (DSFDC), a company that facilitates loan applications for members of marginalized groups, was introduced by CM Atishi.
Since January or February, 125 workers have not received their salaries. The government has agreed to provide them 17 crores today,” she said.
The Delhi government has chosen to build an optometry training wing at the Guru Nanak Eye Centre, where a Bachelor of Optometry degree will be offered.
CM Atishi said that the government was prepared to carry out the plans in response to the Delhi High Court’s notice over the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) implementation in the nation’s capital. However, she claimed, the Ayushman Bharat only had a few categories.
“Health facilities have always been a priority for the Delhi administration. The Delhi administration is prepared to put these major Ayushman Yojanas into effect. However, there is a discrepancy between the Ayushman Yojana and the Delhi government’s facilities. In the government hospitals in Delhi, everything is free. However, Ayushman Bharat only offers a few categories. Additionally, it states that you will not get the advantage if you own a refrigerator, car, or concrete home. Ayushman Bharat caps a household at Rs 5 lakh. One member will not profit if two are unwell at the same time. Free medical care is not something we want to eliminate. As a result, we have instructed the health department to think about how to carry out the Ayushman Yojana without causing damage to anybody. “CM Atishi said.”
In response to the recent explosion in Prashant Vihar, close to a school, Chief Minister Atishi said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Union Home Minister Amit Shah were to blame.
Two blocks from the scene of the Prashant Vihar explosion, a blast occurred close to a school. These kinds of instances are becoming more and more public. Such occurrences are the fault of the BJP and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. In Delhi, the Center’s only duty is to maintain peace and order. The Delhi government is in charge of all other obligations. Delhi’s 1990s underworld has made it similar to Mumbai today. CM Atishi said, “I would like to inform the BJP that the Home Minister should consider the safety of the Delhi populace once he is released from election campaigning.”
