Core group meeting held regarding Delhi elections in the office of Union Home Minister Amit Shah

On Wednesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party met as a core group to discuss the Delhi elections in Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s office in Parliament House.

The conference is attended by Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, Baijayant Panda, the party’s election in-charge, and a few members of parliament from the nation’s capital.

Early in 2025 is when Delhi’s Assembly elections are anticipated to take place.
The BJP General Secretary meeting was earlier hosted by JP Nadda, the party’s national president, at the party headquarters in the nation’s capital on Tuesday.

Late on Tuesday evening, the almost two-hour-long meeting took place at the BJP headquarters.

“BJP National President Shri @JPNadda presided over a meeting with BJP National General Secretaries at BJP Headquarters in New Delhi,” the party said in a post on X.

The Delhi Assembly Elections, the BJP’s organization elections, and a few other topics were discussed, according to sources.

According to reports, the BJP’s first list for the Delhi assembly elections would be made public shortly.

K Laxman, a member of the legislative board, was named the National Election Officer in anticipation of its organizational elections. Sambit Patra, the joint in-charge, and K Laxman, the national election officer, were also present at the meeting.

According to reports, the meeting also covered Veer Bal Diwas and the Good Governance Day event, which honors the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on December 25.

The meeting was attended by BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde, Arun Singh, Dushyant Gautam, Radha Mohan Agrawal, General Secretary Tarun Chugh, and Organizational General Secretary BL Santosh.

The list of all 70 candidates for the Delhi assembly elections has already been made public by the Aam Aadmi Party.

In the 2020 assembly elections, the AAP secured 62 seats, after its 2015 victory of 67 out of 70 seats. The Congress failed to open its account for the second consecutive round, while the BJP increased its number of seats from three to eight.
