Congress MLA Uma Thomas is being monitored after she suffered head injuries in a fall

Kochi: Congress MLA Uma Thomas is being watched after suffering a head injury in a fall, according to Kerala Leader of the Opposition VD Satheesan.

While at the Mridanga Naadam, Bharatanatyam Program, the Congress MLA fell from the VIP Gallery of JN Stadium in Kochi.

“She has several fractures and a brain injury. For the following twenty-four hours, she must be watched. On Sunday evening, Satheesan told ANI, “We are offering all the medical assistance.”

“At the beginning, we thought it was a grave situation,” he said.
Following the incident, Thomas is receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), according to Kerala Minister P Rajeev.

To determine the next step, the Kerala minister said that specialists from several ministries will visit and confer with the physicians.

Rajeev told the media report, “She is receiving treatment in the intensive care unit. The CM and the health minister would send the medical team once we spoke about this. Specialists from other departments will arrive, confer with the local physicians, and determine the best course of action.
