According to the LoP, the state was experiencing a financial crisis and things were getting worse.

“We require clear and appropriate plans, not merely conjecture, data, and expressions sarvodaya’ and ‘antyodaya.'” We’ve had enough of hearing all of this. Yuri Alemao, who was unhappy with the state budget, told ANI that there was nothing special for the average person or specifically about unemployment.

“When will mining begin? The tourist sector continues to deteriorate. What then is the path ahead in this specific way? The financial situation is severe. The financial crisis that Goa is experiencing is becoming worse,” he said.

The state budget was unveiled on Wednesday by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, who is also in charge of the finance department.

There are no new taxes or VAT increases in the state budget. To settle ongoing tax disputes, the government has offered a one-time amnesty plan.

The state budget allotted Rs 71 crore for the development of Chandor village and the rebuilding of the fort, while Rs 14 crore was given to museums and the Mario Miranda Gallery in Old Goa.
A comprehensive housing program to offer affordable homes for Goans via the Goa Housing Board, among other agencies, was announced by the state government in the state budget.

Prior to this, on March 20, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant thanked the people of Goa for his six years in office.

Sawant also complimented Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for giving him the chance to be chief minister.

He also expressed gratitude to the state government, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP President JP Nadda for their leadership in advancing Goa’s development and independence.
