Zubaida Begum has been assigned to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sarika Singh to Rajasthan, Geeta Patel to Gujarat, Pratiksha N. Khalap to Goa, Zodinliani to Mizoram, and A. Rahamathunnisa to Puducherry.

The Congress met with state leaders and all of its general secretaries earlier on Wednesday. Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, and Mallikarjun Kharge, the party president, presided over the meeting.

Jairam Ramesh, the General Secretary in Charge of Communications for the Congress, said after the meeting that the party will begin the “Samvidhan Bachao Yatra” in each state, district, and block.

Additionally, he said that the party began preparing for the next AICC session, which is set to take place in Gujarat. The gathering took place in the nation’s capital at Indira Bhawan, the party’s new headquarters.

On Wednesday, Jairam Ramesh told reporters, “All of the general secretaries and those in charge met for seven hours. Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress, and every other general secretary served as its chair. Every one of the thirty in-charges was there. The Samvidhan Bachao Yatra will be started in each state, district, and block. We also spoke about how to make the DCCs stronger.

“We’ve previously said that organizational adjustments will take place in 2025. The start of the Samvidhan Bachao Rashtriya Yatra is scheduled. Preparations have already started for the next AICC session, which will take place in Gujarat in the first two weeks of April,” he said.

The results of the recent Delhi assembly elections, which were declared on February 8, showed that the Congress had failed to open its account for the third consecutive time.
