Speaking to the media and the audience, the Chief Minister praised the Municipal Corporation’s efforts to maintain the Rapti River’s safety and cleanliness.
“Our Rapti River is still calm and undisturbed. The Municipal Corporation has done a fantastic job of keeping the river clean, safe, and admirable. For this, I commend the whole crew. The CM said, “This is fantastic work being done to preserve lives and the environment.
CM Yogi Adityanath went on to say that the people of eastern Uttar Pradesh were the ones who knew the value of clean water the best.
The people of eastern Uttar Pradesh, who lost almost 50,000 infants as a result of contaminated water between 1970 and 2007, are the ones who know the value of clean water the best. We are appreciative that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was inspired by the Clean Bharat Mission, implemented it nationwide to ensure that everyone has access to clean drinking water. The Jal Jeevan Mission was established in rural regions and the Amrit Mission in urban areas for the same purpose,” he stated.
“The largest religious and spiritual gathering in the world will take place in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, today after the Namami Gange project. Today, Gorakhpur has grown into a major city as well,” he said.
The CM said that there were no additional costs or electrical costs associated with using the natural way.
“There have been no additional costs or power costs while using the natural way. It saved crores of dollars. This is a great project, and we’ll try to improve all drainage systems at a reasonable rate using natural methods. We’ll succeed in preserving the characteristics and cleanliness of the water,” he said.
