CM Yogi attended the screening of Vikrant Massey starrer ‘The Sabarmati Report’ in Lucknow
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath joined the actors of the Vikrant Massey film “The Sabarmati Report” during its Lucknow screening on Thursday.
Brajesh Pathak, the deputy chief minister, attended the screening as well.
Vikrant and Yogi Adityanath recently met at his Lucknow home. On Tuesday, he posted a photo of the actor on X with the caption, “Today, film actor Shri Vikrant Massey made a courtesy visit to the government residence in Lucknow.”
Vikrant thanked the UP CM for his kind remarks on the movie and posted the same image on his Instagram account.”I had the chance to meet with Hon. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today. The whole staff of #TheSabarmatiReport has been motivated by their gratitude. Sincere gratitude for this love and respect,” he wrote.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had already hailed “The Sabarmati Report,” calling it a landmark documentary on the 2002 Godhra train compartment fire. It is encouraging to see the “truth” emerge, he said.
The Prime Minister was replying to a user who had posted a video of the movie’s trailer on X (previously Twitter) and complimented the film, tagging him in the post.
“Excellent. The fact that this reality is being revealed in a form that the general public can understand is a positive thing. The longevity of a phony story is limited. The truth will always surface in due time. On X, PM Modi wrote.
‘The Sabarmati Report’, which was directed by Dheeraj Sarna and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan, is based on actual events including the burning of the Sabarmati Express’s S-6 coach at Godhra.
Joining the special screening of ‘The Sabarmati Report’, Union Health Minister and national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party JP Nadda commended the whole team for exposing the truth to the public.
“We all came to watch ‘The Sabarmati Report’ today,” he stated in an interview with ANI. This film is grounded on reality.It portrays the actual events that took place.The Godhra incident’s actuality is shown in this movie.
