CM Mohan Yadav performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the Freeganj Railway Overbridge to be built in Ujjain
On Thursday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav conducted the bhoomi pujan of the Freeganj railway overbridge, which is being built in Ujjain under the Jan Kalyan Parv and would cost Rs 91.76 crores. He also greeted the locals on the occasion.
As part of the Jan Kalyan Parv campaign being held around the state, I am pleased to have participated in a camp in Ujjain about (bhoomi pujan for) the Freeganj overbridge. To ensure that the public are aware of the plans, the camps are being set up for 40 days.
“On the occasion of the completion of one year of our government in the state, the people will also receive gifts from various welfare schemes,” CM Yadav informed reporters.
He further emphasized that the Bhoomi Pujan was conducted on Thursday for the overbridge, which has been a problem in Freeganj for about a century.
“I want to welcome everyone and say that around 15 crore pilgrims are expected to come here for the next Simhastha.
As a result, we will need to finish all the preparations, construct bridges, and enlarge all the roadways. I am certain that we are dedicated to all development projects under the Prime Minister’s direction, and we are progressively launching them after making the necessary prior preparations,” he said.
In the meanwhile, CM Yadav stated in a post on X, “I performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the Freegunj overbridge in Ujjain today under the ‘Jan Kalyan Parv’ and sent my best wishes to all the locals.”
“The Jan Kalyan Parv campaign, which began on December 11 to help the public via government programs, will run until January 26, 2025. The empowerment of the state’s poor, women, youth, and farmers is the only way to turn Madhya Pradesh into a developed India, CM Yadav said.
