CM Mohan Yadav chaired the apex committee meeting for the successful conduct of GIS 2025

Bhopal: The top committee for the successful and well-organized organization of the Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025 met under the chair of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. The event is scheduled for February 24–25 at the Indira Gandhi National Human Museum Complex in Bhopal.

According to Yadav, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will introduce Madhya Pradesh’s most recent industrial initiatives along with the two-day GIS on February 24 at about 10 AM.

He said that the MP Experience Zone, which would be set up at the GIS location, will be inspected by the prime minister.

This area will have an interactive digital tour that presents Madhya Pradesh’s history, current state of development, and future goals in a well-coordinated manner.

The CM instructed authorities to collaborate closely in order to create a big, orderly, and outcome-oriented GIS.

The Global Investors Summit is being held to boost Madhya Pradesh’s economy and draw in both global and local investors, CM Yadav stressed. He oversaw extensive efforts to make the occasion historic. He also gave authorities instructions to make sure the preparations are not poorly managed.

The Chief Minister underlined how crucial it is to market Madhya Pradesh’s extensive infrastructure for businesses, its investor-friendly industrial policies, and its investment prospects in order to draw in investors. He said that in order to make Madhya Pradesh an “industry-friendly” state, the government must provide the required facilities and support.

Yadav gave authorities instructions to greet all of the investors at GIS with traditional Indian hospitality and to treat them as privileged guests. He encouraged that Madhya Pradesh’s culture, as well as regional arts, food, and hospitality, be particularly highlighted to the investors in order to make these two days unforgettable.

In order to increase Bhopal’s allure, he also oversaw the lakes’ and the city’s overall beautification. In order for the investors and participants to appreciate Bhopal’s exceptional natural beauty, he gave the authorities instructions to arrange boating and e-battery-operated boat excursions at the vast lake.

The Chief Minister emphasized that GIS will boost employment possibilities and provide a new path for the state’s economic growth. In order to provide a unique experience for participants and investors alike, he also gave activities and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Sarang instructions to arrange water activities in Bhopal’s big and small lakes. He went on to say that the success of the GIS would depend on the participation and collaboration of the people of Bhopal.

More than 60 nations, including 10 ambassadors, 8 high commissioners, and 7 consulate generals, will take part in the GIS, officials said. There will be 133 participants from across the world, including CEOs and leading businesspeople. Over 18,736 people have confirmed their presence, out of the 31,659 registrations that have been received for GIS. To showcase items from the “One District, One Product” (ODOP) category, a whole town will be erected at the location.

Famous sculptures from Madhya Pradesh, terracotta handicrafts, and traditional clay ceramics will also be on display.

The CM was pleased with the GIS preparations and said that the success of the event will be guaranteed by the combined efforts of all departments. In order to make Bhopal a top international investment location, he asked everyone to cooperate.

All of the Bhopal district’s public representatives conveyed their sincere appreciation to Yadav for hosting the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal at the meeting on GIS preparations. They saw hosting the summit as a huge honor.

Additionally, the Chief Minister said that GIS will increase employment prospects for young people in Bhopal. According to the Chief Minister, the success of GIS would depend heavily on the collaboration and active engagement of Bhopal’s residents. Additionally, local politicians offered their recommendations, guaranteeing that Bhopal will provide a warm welcome to all participants and investors.

Sharma, Bhopal MP Alok Sharma, Huzur MLA Rameshwar Sharma, Mayor Malti Rai, Bhopal District Panchayat President Ramkunwar Gurjar, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary of CM Office Rajesh Rajora, Principal Secretary of Finance Manish Rastogi, Principal Secretary of Industrial Investment & Promotion Raghvendra Kumar Singh, Secretary and Commissioner of Public Relations Sudam Khade, Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. Chandramouli Shukla, and other senior officials from various departments attended the meeting.
