Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will outline new development plans for the region in a special cabinet meeting in Kalaburagi
The Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said, that special cabinet meeting which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday in Kalaburagi will address some crucial aspects and new development schemes for the Kalyana Karnataka (Hyderabad Karnataka) region will also be brought forward.
An interview with the media on Tuesday, told Siddaramaiah that this area will no other than this congress administration will develop it.
He said, “The cabinet will provide a report on the ongoing projects and new projects with a view to development of the region in terms of growth related to employment opportunities and are also working on the proposal of a separate ministry for Kalyana Karnataka.” He also explained how the congress government under the then Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh was the chief architect in forming 371(J) law which gave special status to Kalyana Karnataka region.
Senior bureaucrats like former Chief Minister Dharam Singh and Mallikarjun Kharge also came to his mind as having done some work for the appreciation of the establishment.
On the developments concerning Nagamangala in the Mandya district, while projecting himself as the superhero of law and order, Siddaramaiah said that peace had been regained.
He went on to say that the Inspector and the Deputy Superintendent of Police were also suspended as they failed to clamp down on that failure properly. The Chief Minister pledged, “People will be reimbursed to cover the loss incurred by the shops and vehicles that were damaged during the riots.”
