Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami asked to select such personnel who are not discharging their responsibilities properly
Dehradun: According to a statement, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed authorities to identify employees who fail to do their duties effectively during a high-level meeting held at his home on Friday.

According to the announcement, Dhami emphasized during the meeting that measures should be taken in accordance with the regulations to force such employees to retire.
According to the Chief Minister, a vigorous effort should be started to stop food adulteration and power theft because of the festival season. He went on to say that electricity thieves and adulterators should likewise face harsh punishment.
The chief minister said that the police should conduct frequent, thorough checks in the state’s border regions and that all relevant ministries should launch ongoing initiatives to make Uttarakhand drug-free.
“By making a list of criminals under the NDPS Act, strict action should be taken against those involved in the drug trade,” he said.
The Director General of Police (DGP) was instructed by the Chief Minister to put in extra effort to regulate traffic in the state.
“It should be ensured that people do not face unnecessary trouble due to traffic jams,” the chief minister said. Additionally, the Chief Minister has directed the police to patrol more at night.
The Chief Minister has directed the authorities to work more at connecting the state’s youth with jobs and self-employment.
“Work should be done towards training and skill development of local people in areas like electrician, carpenter, barber, and plumber,” he said.
The construction of a boxing academy with dormitory accommodations at the Chakarpur Stadium in the Khatima assembly seat was authorized by Chief Minister Dhami on Thursday.
The announcement was made by the Chief Minister on February 11, 2025, at the Chakarpur Stadium in Udham Singh Nagar during the Mallakhamb competition, which was a part of the 38th National Games.
