Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said illegal residents are creating law and order problems in Raipur
Raipur: According to Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, the government has taken tough measures against unauthorized residents who have been creating problems with peace and order in Raipur.
“Illegal residents are creating law and order issues in the city (Raipur),” Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao told the media report. Both the city’s citizens and the state of law and order are at risk because of it. The government has made the decision to take significant action against those who are residing unlawfully since these individuals lack identification and their locations are unknown.
Arun Sao made fun of the Congress party by saying, “The Congress always connects everything to elections, even though action against Bangladeshis and Rohingyas has been ongoing for a long time. This is for the protection of the state’s and the city’s residents.”
In the presence of Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Lakhan Patle, the Chhattisgarh Police began a large verification exercise earlier in the day to identify illegal migrants from neighboring states.
“We were receiving information from various police stations that people from other states have been living here and working,” Raipur ASP Lakhan Patle told the media report. All of these individuals were unknown to the police, and neither had their landlords disclosed their identities to the authorities. Our staff conducted a survey and reconnaissance before bringing all of the suspects in for confirmation.
“Those deemed suspect will face consequences. The city’s crime rate will drop as a result. An inquiry will be conducted if we discover a forged Aadhar card throughout the procedure, and appropriate action will be taken if it turns out that the individual is not of the same nationality. The ASP said that over 2,056 persons had been transported here.
The BJP is well-prepared and would organize workers’ conferences in all urban bodies for the polls, according to Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, who expressed confidence in the party’s victory in the forthcoming elections.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said, “The BJP will win these urban body elections, and the lotus will bloom.”
“We will hold workers’ conferences in all urban bodies,” Sao said in reference to the Chhattisgarh municipal elections. Every BJP employee will fly the party flag at home on February 1. Party members will be energized by the workers’ convention, which will also delegate tasks for the elections of urban bodies.
The Chhattisgarh Election Commission said on Monday that the state would hold elections for urban local bodies on February 11 and that the results will be revealed on February 15.
The results of the three-tier panchayat elections will be revealed on February 18, 21, and 24, respectively. The elections will be held in three parts on February 17, 20, and 23.
