According to PM Modi, the state administration is doing all it can to help the incident’s victims.

According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed his profound sadness at the deaths of devotees in the rush that occurred at Vishnu Niwasam in Tirupati for “darshan” tokens at Tirumala Srivari Vaikuntha Dwara.

A stampede broke out near Vishnu Niwasam in Tirupati on Wednesday evening, resulting in up to six fatalities and several injuries.

When ‘darshan’ tokens were being distributed at Vishnu Niwasam, near the Tirumala Srivari Vaikuntha Dwara ticketing booth, an event happened.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is keeping a close eye on the situation and is scheduled to meet with the relatives of the stampede victims on Thursday morning, according to a statement released by the office of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman BR Naidu.

Six pilgrims lost their lives, which is a regrettable occurrence, according to the statement. The other pilgrims have not yet been recognized, and just one pilgrim has been identified so far. In a teleconference, N. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu voiced his displeasure with the authorities’ handling of the situation and said that he takes the event very seriously. At 11:45 a.m. tomorrow, the Chief Minister will pay a visit to the relatives of the dead. CM is keeping a careful eye on developments regarding the matter and has issued a warning that similar instances should not be repeated.

The Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Temple will host the Vaikunta Dwara Darshan from January 10 to 19. It enables followers to enter the hallowed gate and get the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, or TTD, said that nine token distribution centers will be established in Tirupati and that offline tokens for darshan would begin to be distributed on January 9.

Devotees from all over the nation had been flocking to the centers since Wednesday morning to pick up tokens, but by the end of the day, there were a significant number of people there, causing traffic in those regions.
