Following a joint session of the BRS state committee, Rama Rao informed reporters, “The Congress party has pushed the people of Telangana into a dire state in the last 15 months.”

As his party approaches its 25th year of organization, he said that it is concentrating on institutional construction.

Nearly 400 people attended a combined session of the state committee, district party presidents, all of our lawmakers, members of Parliament, and former ministers. We are concentrating on institutional development and how to revitalize our committees as we approach the 25th anniversary of our party’s founding,” he said.

In addition to strengthening its position as Telangana’s main opposition party, BRS has chosen to commemorate its 25th anniversary with activities throughout the year.

BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) told the media during a crucial party meeting at Telangana Bhavan, which was chaired by party president K Chandrashekar Rao, that the party is still dedicated to defending the interests of the people under the Congress administration.

BRS was referred to the KTR as “a child born out of history for the liberation of Telangana” and its 25-year history as a pivotal period in the sociopolitical development of the state.

He reaffirmed that the party will continue to protect Telangana’s interests under K. Chandrashekar Rao’s leadership.

The gathering covered a wide range of issues that have surfaced in less than a year, including the Congress government’s purported shortcomings.

According to KTR, Telangana has seen 50 student suicides in residential schools, more than 400 farmer suicides, and financial hardship among real estate speculators and drivers.

When the Congress failed to obtain Telangana’s share of the waters of the Krishna River, he said, the administration was “playing with state interests.”

He threatened to unveil BRS’s own action plan to protect Telangana’s rights if the Congress did not take action.

In the second week of April, BRS has scheduled a gathering of important party representatives in Hyderabad. The location of the large public gathering, which is set for April 27, will be revealed soon. Within a week, the party will also establish committees to manage the Silver Jubilee festivities.
