Bollywood’s versatile actor Jackie Shroff remembered the late legendary singer RD Burman on his death anniversary today

On the anniversary of his passing today, Jackie Shroff, a talented actor in Bollywood, paid tribute to the late, great musician RD Burman.

The ‘Yudh’ actor honored the singer on Instagram by posting a little black-and-white video of RD Burman performing his well-known song ‘Duniya Mein Logon Ko’ live.

Alongside the folded hands, he wrote, “Remembering RD Burman Ji (27 Jun 1939-4 Jan 1994)”.

A picture of the musician sporting black glasses and a crimson shirt was also included in the Instagram story.

RD Burman’s tunes are still treasured by music enthusiasts 31 years after his passing. In addition, he has worked with renowned authors and singers like as Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, and Gulzar, among many others.

RD Burman’s partnership with Gulzar was one of his most fruitful partnerships. Together, the two created magic.

According to rumors, RD Burman arrived to Gulzar’s house at one in the morning to force him to listen to the song’s composition. They became lifelong friends as they stayed in the vehicle all night listening to the music.

In addition, RD Burman and Gulzar collaborated on well-known songs like “Tere bina zindagi se koi” (from “Aandhi” 1975), “O manjhi re” (from “Khushboo” 1975), and “Tujhse naraz nahi zindagi” (from “Masoom” 1983).

Since his debut as a composer with comedian Mehmood’s 1961 film Chhote Nawab, Pancham Da has unquestionably revolutionized Hindi cinema music. He was born in 1939 to rising star in the musical firmament, SD Burman.

At the age of 54, he died on January 4, 1994.
