BJP released the party ‘Sankalp Patra’ for Delhi Assembly elections
New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced its ‘Sankalp Patra’ for the Delhi assembly elections on Friday, with a primary emphasis on enhancing healthcare, empowering women, assisting older persons, and guaranteeing improved access to basic amenities as the Delhi assembly votes draw near.
The party promised to improve current programs and introduce new ones in order to provide Delhi residents a more welcoming and encouraging atmosphere.
The governing Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), however, responded angrily to the BJP’s election pledges and said that the central government is adopting Arvind Kejriwal’s style of administration.
JP Nadda, the Union Minister and National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, unveiled the party’s Delhi Assembly election platform on Friday.
As part of its key pledges, the BJP launched a number of women’s welfare programs, beginning with the Matritva Suraksha Yojana, which would provide six nutritional kits and Rs 21,000 in financial aid to pregnant women to safeguard their health and well-being. The BJP pledged to provide women from low-income households with LPG cylinders for Rs 500 in order to help them. Additionally, the party promised to give out one free cylinder each on Deepawali and Holi.
With a pledge to introduce the national government’s Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Delhi, which would provide free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh, the manifesto also emphasized the party’s emphasis on healthcare. To provide complete medical care, the state government will provide low-income families with an additional Rs 5 lakh in coverage. The BJP pledged to implement a number of programs for elderly folks, such as providing free OPD and diagnostic care to anybody 70 years of age or older. The party would also raise the pension for older citizens aged 60 to 70 from Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500 and provide Rs 10 lakh in health insurance.
Manoj Tiwari, the party’s leader, responded to the BJP’s election pledges with joy when the party pledged in its platform to provide Rs 2,500 to every Delhi woman before the assembly elections on February 5.
“After hearing this, all I can think of is how much PM Narendra Modi loves Delhi. As expected, there was a lot of talk about this in Delhi, similar to how women in Maharashtra get Rs 2100. Every lady in Delhi was anticipating what Narendra Modi and the BJP would do for the city. I touch myself to make sure I was hearing correctly when the party’s national president declared today that women will get Rs 2,500 a month in the form of mahila samman,” Tiwari remarked.
According to BJP spokesman Pradeep Bhandari, the party’s agenda included honoraria for women in MP, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Haryana. Every one of PM Narendra Modi’s initiatives in India respects women. Arvind Kejriwal has only acted dishonestly, whether in Delhi or Punjab.
BJP leader CR Kesavan said, “PM Modi’s dedication and resolve to realize the dynamic vision for ‘Viksit Delhi’ is reflected in the BJP’s Delhi election manifesto, which was released today. Kejriwal began to fear even as the plan was made public. Since he is aware that the people of Delhi have chosen to remove the dishonest AAP government on February 5, he is anxious and terrified.Kejriwal is aware that the clock is ticking down to the end of his fraudulent AAP government.
Former Delhi Chief Minister and national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal, attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday, saying that the party has “openly accepted” that the AAP administration is implementing a number of welfare programs for the populace.
Arvind Kejriwal’s X account said, “BJP has openly accepted that Kejriwal is running many welfare schemes in Delhi that are benefiting the families of BJP members also.”
The message went on to say that the AAP’s work is so good that even its “opponents praise it.”
“We know how to work, but we don’t know how to conduct politics. The message went on to say, “And we do such work that even our opponents praise it.”
Manish Sisodia, a senior AAP politician, said that the money paid in taxes should be used to provide services for the general public. The ‘politics’ of Arvind Kejriwal are being adopted by other parties in the nation, he said.
“It is the people’s money; instead of being used to support the close friends of the powerful, it should be used to fund facilities for the people (tax money).” It’s a wonderful thing that other parties have realized they can’t mock politics that serves the public interest and are now supporting Kejriwal’s policies, which they formerly disparaged. But ‘trust’ is what counts here.In the past, they would mock Kejriwal by accusing him of disseminating “revdi.” They are now claiming to grant “revdi” as well, but the question is, who would distribute “trust”—who do people trust? …people have faith in Kejriwal,” Sisodia said.
Taking issue with the BJP’s agenda “They (BJP) have done nothing for Delhi, so they just reiterated the promises in their manifesto that the AAP has already fulfilled,” said Priyanka Kakkar, national spokeswoman for the AAP. The BJP just never stops creating slogans and promises. Their platform had no reference to law and order.
For the next Delhi elections, a number of candidates from various political parties submitted their nominations today.
Elections for the Delhi Assembly will take place in one phase on February 5 and be counted on February 8.
