BJP MP Nishikant Dubey made this allegation on opposition MPs
On Wednesday, Nishikant Dubey, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, accused the opposition MPs of preventing him from speaking in the Lok Sabha.
“I am being prevented from speaking by the opposition. I’ve squandered my Zero Hour for the fourth day in a row. My voice is being muffled by them. “This is the lowest the opposition has ever stopped,” Dubey told media .
“Drama” and “childish” are how he described the opposition MPs’ demonstration outside Parliament holding Indian flags and flowers for the NDA MPs.
“Are they not engaging in some kind of theater here? These are immature methods. Although both Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi served as opposition leaders, were they ever seen producing films similar to this one? “These are kids,” he said.
Among the demonstrators were Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi. As Defence Minister Rajnath Singh entered the Parliament building, Rahul Gandhi was seen handing him a Tiranga and a rose flower.
Sukhdeo Bhagat, a Congress MP, said that the BJP administration was transforming Parliament into a “Lajvanti” (shame plant).
“The Parliament has become the ‘Lajvanti’ (shame plant) under the BJP administration. As soon as Adani’s name is mentioned, the House adjourns. In accordance with parliamentary etiquette, we are distributing the national flag,” Bhagat told media.
Varsha Gaikwad, a Congress MP, stated: “We have handed out the national flag and asked them to keep the country going and not sell it. Regretfully, it seems that Adani is now in charge of the nation. He is receiving everything, while the voice of the underprivileged is being silenced. The plot to sell the nation is something we oppose.
“If you cannot show respect for the Chair, you have no right to be a member. We have sworn to uphold the nation’s sovereignty,” he said.
Sonia Gandhi is co-president of the Forum of Democratic Leaders – Asia Pacific (FDL-AP), but the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) expressed worries on Wednesday that George Soros has connections to the Nehru-Gandhi family that go beyond that.
