BJP leader Gaurav Vallabh attacked AAP and said, “Atishi is not listening to Arvind Kejriwal”
New Delhi: BJP leader Gaurav Vallabh made fun of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday after senior Delhi government officials issued notices rejecting the ruling AAP‘s registration process for two of its schemes in the nation’s capital. He claimed that Atishi, the chief minister of Delhi, is not paying attention to him these days.
Vallabh said that the Aam Aadmi Party had a split just before the Delhi assembly elections and that other factions have since formed inside the party, led by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi, and Sanjay Singh.
“CM Atishi is not paying attention to Arvind Kejriwal these days. Kejriwal is announcing welfare plans, but Atishi responds that there aren’t any schemes of such kind. I believe the party is divided. Two factions support Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Atishi, respectively. One group supports Sanjay Singh, while the other supports the chief minister of Punjab. Therefore, I believe that the Aam Aadmi Party would split before the Delhi elections. ANI was informed by Gaurav Vallabh.
The BJP representative intensified his criticism by claiming that the Arvind Kejriwal-led government has engaged in liquor corruption and that, as a result, he ought to rename his party the “Daru Premi Party.”
“I want to inform Kejriwal Ji and the Delhi administration of one thing,” Vallabh said. “The BJP has won all seven seats in the previous three general (Lok Sabha) elections. Kejriwal ji, the elected officials of the BJP were serving the people of Delhi even when you were incarcerated on alcohol-related charges. The only thing you and your administration have done is corrupt the liquor industry. Therefore, you need to rename your party the “Daru Premi Party.”
Prior to the 2025 assembly elections, the Delhi government’s Women and Child Development (WCD) department clarified the ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana’ that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had declared. According to the department, no formal notification of such a plan has been made.
As stated in the notice that was published in national publications on Wednesday, “It is clarified that no such scheme has been notified by the Delhi Government,” the department said.
The issue of accepting forms or applications for registration under this nonexistent plan does not arise since there is no such program, it is emphasized. The warning said that any private person or political party that gathers applications or forms or information from applicants under the guise of this program is engaging in fraud and lacks jurisdiction.
The primary opposition party in Delhi, the BJP, attacked Kejriwal when the alerts appeared in many media sites, accusing him of digital fraud.
