Before the budget session, UP DGP inspected the security arrangements of the assembly premises

Lucknow: In advance of the assembly’s budget session, Uttar Pradesh DGP Prashant Kumar and other authorities examined the setup for the assembly’s security measures on Tuesday and provided the required instructions.

Amarendra Kumar Sengar, the commissioner of Lucknow, told the media report, “The right security measures have been put in place. Today, senior commanders examined the preparedness. We’ll make sure the general public doesn’t have to endure hardship without jeopardizing national security.”

According to the schedule that was provided at the business advisory committee meeting on Monday, the budget session will run until March 5.

The annual budget for the fiscal year 2025-2026, expected to exceed Rs 8 lakh crore, will be unveiled on February 20.

Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly’s budget session, on Monday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hosted a BJP legislature meeting in Lucknow.

Along with other BJP ministers and MLAs, deputy chief ministers Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya attended the meeting.

According to the UP Deputy CM, who was speaking about the budget session, the budget would be present, and the speaker will give the speech on Tuesday. He also exhorted the opposition to comprehend and fulfill their responsibilities.

“The budget will be revealed when the speaker has finished speaking. The opposition should be aware of their responsibilities and fulfill them. The government is prepared to address any objection. After accomplishments, we will budget for 2025. “The central government presented an amazing budget, and the state governments will follow suit,” he stated.

The budget that will be presented on Tuesday would be one about development, according to UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak.

“The budget will be revealed tomorrow. This funding will be used for development and will be shown to be a significant achievement,” Pathak said.
