Before Delhi assembly elections, Congress announced ‘Pyaari Didi Yojana’

“Today, I am here to launch the ‘Pyari Didi’ scheme,” Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Shivakumar stated at a joint news conference with Delhi Congress President Devender Yadav. Based on the same model we used in Karnataka, I am sure that the Congress will form the government in Delhi and that we would provide Rs 2,500 to women. This will be agreed at the very first cabinet meeting.”

Shivakumar said that the party has fulfilled all of its promises.

“Congress has fulfilled all of our promises. “The strength of Congress is the strength of the nation, and the history of Congress is the history of the nation,” Shivakumar said.

Devender Yadav, the president of the Delhi Congress, said that his party had increased public trust in it by keeping all of its pledges.

“Be it Karnataka, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Rajasthan or Chattisgarh, whatever promises we made, we have fulfilled them and somewhere because of this people’s faith in Congress is increasing,” Yadav said.

In a subtle jab at Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, Yadav also said that all of the aspirations he had made for the nation’s capital were now coming to nothing.

“Sapno Ka Saudagar, also known as the merchant of dreams, never stops presenting people dreams. But eleven years later, things are becoming worse in the city. All of his aspirations for Delhi are now disintegrating. Yadav said that Arvind Kejriwal has failed miserably in 11 years in every area, including the education model, free energy, free water, and combating corruption.

It is anticipated that Delhi’s assembly elections would take place in February. The Congress party, which ruled Delhi for 15 years in a row, has not won any seats in the last two assembly elections. In the 2020 assembly elections, the BJP won eight seats while the AAP won 62 of the 70 seats.
