Ayushmann, Rashmika share video from the sets of ‘Thama’

‘Thama’ will be the first time that actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna will appear together on screen.

On Monday, Ayushmann and Rashmika posted a sweet video from the set, greeting fans “thama-kedar holidays and an amazing 2025.” This came a few months after the creators made the project public.

“I hope your vacations are THAMA-ke-daar. They wrote, “See you in 2025 #Diwali,” as the caption for the photo.

“I’m thrilled that Dinesh Vijan feels this is the best time for me to enter his blockbuster horror comedy universe in and as ‘Thama,'” the “Bala” actor said in a press release earlier, expressing his joy at entering the horror comedy universe. I’m excited to contribute to this universe’s heritage as it continues, and I also feel obligated to provide spectators with a cinematic experience they will remember for years to come, especially after Stree 2 became the largest Bollywood blockbuster in Hindi cinema history.”

Aditya Sarpotdar, the director of “Munjya,” is directing the movie, while Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik are producing it. Arun Fulara, Suresh Mathew, and Niren Bhatt wrote the script.

“Thama,” which is presented by Maddock Films, will be released in theaters on Diwali 2025 and stars Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
