Assam Rifles conducted a robust Area Domination Patrolling and Search Operation in Jiribam, Manipur
Jiribam: In Jiribam District, Manipur, the Assam Rifles conducted a thorough area domination patrol (ADP) and search operation in the general regions of Narayanpur, Madhopur, and Gotaikhal.
Reiterating Assam Rifles’ commitment to preserving peace and stability, this well-thought-out action was executed on December 12 with the goal of ensuring the region’s safety and security.
To improve search skills in identifying possible threats and increase the safety of both soldiers and locals, the operation used an explosive detection (ED) dog.
A road blockage at Gotaikhal that was obstructing traffic and causing inconvenience to the locals was successfully removed during the operation.
This step allowed for unrestricted travel in the region and returned everything to normal.
In addition, an illegal building in Gotaikhal was located and demolished to preserve peace and order and stop it from being used for illegal purposes.
The soldiers’ commitment and skill were evident in the operation’s professionalism and accuracy, which was carried out without any unfortunate accidents.

14 firearms, ammunition, and warlike stocks (WLS) were found in the hill and valley areas of the Manipur districts of Churachandpur, Kangpokpi, and Thoubal earlier on December 8 by the Assam rifles in cooperation with the Manipur Police and other security forces, according to a release.
According to the release, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police conducted a joint operation on December 2 in response to specific intelligence regarding the presence of weapons and ammunition in the general area of Loiching Ridge in Kangpokpi district. The operation resulted in the recovery of one sniper rifle, one Lathode gun, two 9mm pistols, and one SBBL gun, along with ammunition and warlike supplies.
