Asha Bhosle blends her evergreen charm with viral hook steps of the song ‘Tauba Tauba’ at a concert
During a recent concert in Dubai, legendary singer Asha Bhosle stunned her audience with a performance that will never be forgotten. She combined her classic charm with the viral hook steps of Karan Aujla’s famous song, “Tauba Tauba.”
The 91-year-old legend executed the song’s trademark dance technique while wearing a white saree and matching jewelry.
The song, which was first heard in the Vicky Kaushal film “Bad Newz,” became very famous earlier this year and was named one of the best dance songs of 2024.
Dharma Productions’ official Instagram page shared a video from the event that has since gone viral, describing the performance as the moment “Tauba Tauba met timeless charm.”
Vicky Kaushal, the actor who first did the hook step in the film, was giddy with anticipation.
He posted the footage on Instagram with the caption, “What an absolute legend… Asha ji.”

Karan Aujla, the song’s original performer, expressed his appreciation on Instagram as well, describing the occasion as “truly iconic.”
“@asha.bhosle ji,” he wrote. ‘Tauba Tauba’ was recently sung by the living goddess of music… This moment is really memorable and something I will always remember, even if this song has gotten a lot of attention and fame. I am really grateful and fortunate.
Thinking back on his modest beginnings, Aujla said that hearing a great like Asha Bhosle perform his song inspired him to keep coming up with catchy tunes.
Together with Asha Bhosle, Sonu Nigam gave an enthralling performance during the show.
Later, Zanai Bhosle, Asha’s granddaughter, joined them, giving the musical event a multigenerational feel.
Heart emojis and fire symbols were used by fans to celebrate the renowned singer’s ability to keep her timeless craft while embracing new trends in the comments section of Dharma Productions’ post.
