Army operation continues in Jammu and Kashmir after encounter between army and terrorists
Jammu and Kashmir: After yesterday night’s gunfight between the Indian Army and militants, search operations in Baramulla resumed on Friday morning.
Terrorists assaulted a military truck in Baramulla, killing two Indian Army personnel and two civilian porters. According to Indian Army sources, one soldier and one porter are hurt and receiving medical attention.
The Chinar Corps, located in Srinagar, said in its initial post on X that “Terrorists and the Indian Army engaged in a short battle in the approximate region of Butapathri, Baramulla. Two troops and two porters were injured during the firefight and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Terrorists fired at and wounded a laborer in the Batgund Tral neighborhood of Pulwama district on the same day (October 24). Pritam Singh, an Uttar Pradesh native, was recognized as the wounded worker.
Earlier on October 20, terrorists attacked a tunnel building site in the Ganderbal area on the Srinagar-Leh national highway, killing a doctor and six construction workers.
