There were multiplesevere’ AQI readings in the nation’s capital. Anand Vihar reported an AQI of 478, whereas Ashok Vihar recorded 474, Bawana recorded 460, and DTU recorded 461.

AQI values fall into one of the following categories: acceptable (zero to fifty), satisfactory (51 to 100), moderate (101 to 200), poor (201 to 300), extremely poor (301 to 400), and severe (401 to 500).

According to a pedestrian, the city’s temperatures are predicted to decrease over the next several days.

“We anticipate it to last till late next year since the winters arrived late this year. The pedestrian said, “The temperature has dropped, and we can anticipate further drops in the days ahead.”

The winters in Delhi are difficult for the city’s impoverished residents, who lack housing and shelter.

“Those who struggle with the chilly weather are those who seek refuge outside AIIMS. For them, it is quite difficult. They will find it more challenging when the weather drops more. Another pedestrian advised people to exercise carefully and monitor their body temperatures under current weather conditions.

Following the decline in air quality, GRAP stage IV measures have been in place across the NCR since December 16.

Following Delhi’s AQI surpassing 400, this decision was made. At 9 p.m. on Monday, the AQI was recorded at 399, and by 10 p.m., it had gone into the severe zone at 401.
