Aparajita Singh said Nishadraj Park is being developed in two phases and will be inaugurated soon
Prayagraj: According to Aparajita Singh, Prayagraj’s regional tourist officer, Nishadraj Park is being built in two stages and will soon be officially opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Prior to the forthcoming Mahakumbh-2025, Shringverpur Dham, a place associated with Lord Ram after Ayodhya, is poised to emerge as a new hub for rural, religious, and spiritual tourism in Uttar Pradesh.
A 52-foot-tall monument of Lord Rama embracing Nishadraj has been erected, according to Prayagraj’s regional tourist officer, Aparajita Singh, who spoke to the media report.
During his exile, Lord Rama is said to have slept overnight in Shringaverpur Dham. Uttar Pradesh is being developed as a destination for religious tourism. The development of Nishad Park is underway. The installation of a 52-foot-tall statue of Lord Rama holding Nishadraj was announced by Aparajita Singh.
Ninety percent of the park’s construction has been finished, she said.
“A pedestal, gallery, and entry parking have been built under the first phase. A caretaker’s room, cafĂ©, children’s play area, open-air theater, and meditation center have all been built as part of the second phase. Ninety percent of the construction is finished. The magnificent Nishadraj Park will soon be inaugurated by PM Modi,” she said.
About 2000 tents would be constructed, which guests may reserve for a nice stay, according to Vivek Chaturvedi, the Additional District Magistrate of Prayagraj, who made this announcement exclusively to the media on Wednesday.
“People may make reservations for our next tent city, which will include 2000 tents. Apart from that, we are introducing a tent city with 400 tents to other areas as well,” Chaturvedi said.
“Those who are coming here can book the tents and avail themselves of all the facilities,” the ADM said, adding that the tents would feature five-star amenities.
The Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Limited (UPSTDC) is working on the initiative with six important partners: Aagaman, Kumbh Camp India, Rishikul Kumbh Cottage, Kumbh Village, Kumbh Canvas, and Era, according to an official statement.
These tents will have five-star hotel-quality amenities and be built to international standards. The four types of lodging available in the tent city are Villa, Maharaja, Swiss Cottage, and Dormitory, and daily rates will range from Rs 1,500 to Rs 35,000.
Extra visitors (not including dorms) would incur additional fees of Rs 4,000 to Rs 8,000. The goal of this large-scale project is to serve the anticipated 45 crore tourists from 75 nations.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision is being followed in the development of the tent city. These tents, which will provide top-notch lodging options, will be open from January 1 to March 5 and are anticipated to welcome an estimated 45 crore pilgrims. According to the statement, guests may reserve lodging using the Mahakumbh app or the UPSTDC website.
