Anil Vij said after Haryana and Maharashtra, now BJP will win the upcoming Delhi assembly elections
New Delhi: Following the BJP-led NDA’s success in the just-ended Haryana and Maharashtra assembly elections, Haryana Minister Anil Vij predicted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will win the next Delhi assembly elections.
“The BJP triumphed in Maharashtra after first winning in Haryana, and now it’s time for Delhi.” The country’s development politics have been initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Vij told the media report.
In response to a question, he stated, “The protesting farmers are from Punjab, which is controlled by the AAP. Their concerns and requests have been ignored by AAP leaders. Before making a big deal out of this, the AAP is waiting for something negative to happen to the farmers who are protesting.”
Priyanka Kakkar, an AAP spokeswoman, described the elections as a struggle between the AAP and the BJP.
“I believe that the BJP and AAP will face off in the Delhi election. “The BJP will use all negative tactics to win; they will bring their ‘B teams’ and distribute money, which is why the BSP and AIMIM are running in Delhi,” Kakkar told the media report.
On February 5, the Delhi assembly elections will be conducted in a single phase, and on February 8, the results will be counted.
In preparation for the assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has stepped up its campaign.
A day earlier, BJP candidates expressed confidence that the double-engine government will form the next government in Delhi and criticized Arvind Kejriwal, who had been imprisoned for his suspected involvement in the Delhi excise policy case.
The BJP has gone all guns blazing, accusing the AAP leaders of misgovernance and corruption.
The AAP, which is aiming for a third term, will improve its “performance” in the fields of health and education.
In the 2020 assembly elections, the BJP won eight seats while the AAP won 62 of the 70 seats.
