New Delhi: On Wednesday, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this city to address important state-related matters.

Naidu, whose Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is a crucial partner of the BNP-led NDA government at the federal level, emphasized the state’s financial difficulties, citing the previous administration’s misappropriation of cash from 94 officially supported programs, some of which have since been reopened.

The TDP leader expressed gratitude to PM Modi at the meeting for providing funding to restart the Polavaram and Amaravati projects.

The Swarnandhra Vision 2047 paper, which is in line with India’s Viksit Bharat initiative, was also delivered by the chief minister. He also went over the schedule for the next project inaugurations and foundation stone laying ceremonies.

Naidu posted pictures from the meeting on X.

“Today in New Delhi, I had a productive discussion with Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, where we discussed important matters pertaining to Andhra Pradesh. He added, “I conveyed my appreciation for the assistance given in restarting the Polavaram and Amaravati projects.

“I alerted the Hon’ble PM about the previous government’s misappropriation of cash from 94 central initiatives. I also emphasized my government’s earnest attempts to bring these programs back to life. I brought up the financial difficulties facing our state and the need for federal assistance at the discussion. I gave him a copy of Swarnandhra Vision 2047, and we spoke about how important projects will be inaugurated during his January visit. “I’m excited to have him visit AP once more,” the Andhra chief minister said.

Later, Naidu met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah to talk about Andhra Pradesh’s main problems and difficulties.

“Met with the Hon’ble Union Home Minister, Shri @AmitShah Ji, to deliberate on the crucial issues and challenges confronting Andhra Pradesh and sought his assistance in addressing them,” he wrote in an article on X.

The TDP politician had earlier been present at a gathering of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders at Union Minister and BJP president JP Nadda’s home.
