Before Amit Shah visits Raigad, preparations are being made. He landed in Pune yesterday and will honour Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the 345th anniversary of his passing at the Raigad Fort monument. On April 3, 1680, he passed away. Due to health issues, the Maratha kingdom’s founder died in April 1680 at Raigad Fort.

Shah’s trip to Raigad coincides with political unrest in Maharashtra over arguments over Aurangzeb and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s legacies. In order to negotiate the nomination of Guardian Ministers in Raigad and Nashik, the Union Home Minister is anticipated to meet with a number of influential Mahayuti coalition leaders.

The deputy chief minister of Maharashtra said on Friday that Shah is probably going to have lunch at the home of Sunil Tatkare, the head of the state’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde are also anticipated at Tatkare’s home. Shah will probably talk on the Guardian Minister of Raigad and Nashik problem, according to Pawar.

Sunil Tatkare, the state president of the NCP, asked Amit Shah to lunch, and it seems probable that they will meet. Pawar informed reporters that Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis are anticipated to visit Shah at Tatkare’s home and probably talk about the Guardian Minister of Raigad and Nasik problem.

The selection of Aditi Tatkare of the NCP and Girish Mahajan of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as guardian ministers of Raigad and Nashik, respectively, has sparked rumours of conflicts between the BJP, NCP, and Shiv Sena. In response, Pawar said that Amit Shah will speak with the coalition partners about the matter.

Later, Shah will also be present at the 75th Gujarati Weekly Chitralekha Foundation Day Celebration at Vile Parle, Mumbai.
