Allu Arjun said this big thing amidst allegations on Sandhya theater tragedy
During the launch of his film “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” Telugu actor Allu Arjun addressed accusations that he was involved for the Sandhya Theatre disaster.
The Pushpa actor described the situation as “very unfortunate” and said that he was the target of “character assassination” and “a lot of misinformation” during a news conference on Saturday night.
“This is a very regrettable incident.” It is just an accident. I send the family my sympathies. Every hour, I get updates on the child’s (hospitalized) status. His health is getting better; it’s excellent. False accusations are being made, and there is a lot of disinformation. I don’t want to point the finger at any government agency or official.
“My character is being assassinated,” Arjun told reporters after the Sandhya Theatre stampede on December 4, which claimed the life of a lady and wounded her kid.
I’m informed on Sri Tej’s condition and get hourly updates on the child’s progress. The good news is that he is doing well, making progress, and moving. The nice thing about all of these accidents is that he’s getting better,” Arjun said.
“I am not blaming anyone,” Arjun remarked in response to accusations made by some lawmakers. Because of poor communication, there is a great deal of incorrect information and accusations. I don’t want to point the finger at any government agency, political figure, or department. The government raised the price of tickets, which makes me quite delighted. I would want to draw attention to the fact that there is a lot of false information on my actions that day.
It is degrading and a kind of character assassination. Can I ever talk or act that way after you’ve been seeing me for twenty years? Character assassination and a lot of inaccurate facts are included. Although my movie was a great hit, I’ve been sitting here by myself for the last fifteen days, without going to any parties or gatherings.
Despite my three years of hard labor, I have never seen the film in a theater. For me, watching a movie is a learning experience. However, I’ve been sitting by myself for the last fifteen days, comforting myself that I had nothing to do with what transpired. The actor remarked, “I sincerely apologize for what transpired.”
The police had refused permission for any event at Sandhya Theatre because of safety concerns, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said in the Assembly earlier in the day. Allu Arjun went to the premiere in spite of the warning, nevertheless, and caused mayhem by scaling his “car roof” and performing a roadshow at RTC X Road.
“On December 2, Akbaruddin Owaisi asked the Chikkadpally police station to arrange for the cast and crew of Pushpa 2 to arrive at Sandhya Theatre for the film’s December 4 release. The Chikkadpally Circle Inspector denied the request in a written response on December 3rd, stating that the police would not be able to handle (any negative scenario) since the theater is a packed venue with only one departure and access point.
He went on to say, “However, the hero arrived the next day to see the film and exited the vehicle while doing a roadshow on the RTC X route. In order to pacify the crowd, the ACP proceeded to beg the hero to leave after the rush. The actor first declined, stating that he would go after the film was completed.
Then, as two people had already fallen outside, the DCP had to step in and threaten to arrest the hero unless he left. He performed a roadshow even as he was departing, emerging from the roof once again.
Telugu celebrity Allu Arjun was also criticized by AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi for the Sandhya Theatre disaster. The actor was accused of exhibiting “irresponsible behaviour” during the showing of his film Pushpa 2, which resulted in a woman’s death.
Allu Arjun was present for the premiere of his film “Pushpa 2: The Rule” on December 4. To get a look at the celebrity, a huge throng gathered. When Arjun waved to admirers from his car’s sunroof, the situation got out of hand and a lady called Revathi was killed in the ensuing confusion.
Allu Arjun was taken into custody after the event, but he was freed the next day when the Telangana High Court granted him freedom in exchange for a Rs 50,000 bond.
At the same time, Sukumar’s most recent film, “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” which stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil and was directed by Allu Arjun, is smashing box office records.
