Akshay Kumar is happy with his niece Simar Bhatia’s Bollywood debut
The Indian film industry will experience a large influx of fresh talent in 2025. Simar Bhatia, the niece of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, is one of them.
‘Ikkis’ will be Simar’s Bollywood debut, and Akshay sent a sweet message for her on Instagram Tuesday.
“I recall the first time I saw my picture on the newspaper cover,” he wrote. I believed it to be the pinnacle of pleasure. However, I am aware that the joy of seeing your child’s picture here surpasses all other emotions today. My mother would have exclaimed, “Simar puttar Tu tah Kamaal hai,” if she had been present today. The sky is yours, my darling; may you be blessed.
A newspaper piece with a story on Simar’s debut was also shared by Akshay.
Actors Huma Qureshi and Rakul Preet Singh praised Simar in the comment section.
Rakul made a few red heart emoticons, but Huma responded with “sim sim.”
Agastya Nanda, the grandson of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, also appears in “Ikkis.” Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal’s life is said to serve as the inspiration for the combat play. He had a model life and received the posthumous Param Vir Chakra.
The film, directed by Sriram Raghavan, also features veteran actor Dharmendra. The project’s specifics have not yet been made public.
Regarding Akshay’s future endeavors, he is preparing for Sky Force’s premiere. The movie, which is scheduled for release on January 24, 2025, just before Republic Day, stars Akshay as an Indian Air Force commander who, after many men are killed, sets out on a mission of revenge.
Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, the high-stakes thriller promises stunning aerial warfare, thrilling action scenes, and an engrossing story that highlights the valor of Indian troops.
Sara Ali Khan, who plays Veer’s wife, and Veer Pahariya, a rookie who plays another IAF officer, join Akshay.
