Yadav said, “Since the excavation work is underway, I believe that there is a Shivling at the Chief Minister’s residence too… we have faith that the Shivling is there,” suggesting that political dramatization of such finds was being practiced.

“We should all get ready for its excavation,” he said. We’ll follow behind the journalists, who should go first.”

Akhilesh discussed a number of urgent topics in Uttar Pradesh at the same news conference, such as the usage of electronic voting machines (EVMs), Kumbh Mela preparations, and worries over the condition of farmers.

Yadav brought up a situation in Germany using EVMs, where ballot voting was restored after a protracted discussion in the Supreme Court of that nation. “Countries such as Germany do not accept EVMs. EVMs were eliminated after a protracted Supreme Court dispute, and ballot sheets are now used for voting,” he stated.

Over the next Kumbh Mela, Yadav expressed reservations over the planning while acknowledging the event’s religious and cultural importance.

“There should be passion at the conclusion of the Kumbh. And our party members are willing to aid if the government needs it. However, based on the arrangements we have seen, there is still some work to be done. He said, “How are they going to finish all that in only 13 days?”
