After returning from Maha Kumbh, Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham said, “UP CM has made very good arrangements”
Tiruchirappalli: After attending the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, Vijayendra Saraswati Swamigal, the Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, landed at Trichy International Airport. Speaking to reporters at the airport, Swamigal said he was pleased to see so many people attending the Maha Kumbh Mela, a major Hindu holy occasion.

“Kumbh Mela is an extremely significant religious event in our nation,” he said. The Kumbh Mela is also drawing participants from all throughout our nation. This is good to see.
Swamigal also commended Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, for organizing the event, claiming that it had made sure the holy event went well.
According to what I’ve heard, about 52 crore individuals have already taken the holy plunge. “The Maha Kumbh Mela arrangements made by the UP CM are excellent,” he said.
Swamigal also noted Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s offer to visit Tamil Nadu as a show of respect. Swamigal said, “We have invited the UP CM Yogi to Tamil Nadu as an honor.”
Meanwhile, on Sunday morning, at the current Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj, singer Kailash Kher took a sacred plunge in the Triveni Sangam. Sambit Patra, a leader of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), accompanied him for the sacred plunge. He described the Mahakumbh as a “proud moment” for India and one of the biggest holy assemblies in the world.
Notably, Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, said on Sunday that 620 million Hindus had come to Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh Mela.
CM Yogi greeted the attendees of the Unicorn Companies Conclave in Agra, saying, “I can call it the Unicorn Maha Kumbh of the startup world because, at this time, there is an attraction toward Maha Kumbh.”
Such a meeting of individuals at a certain moment is a “rare” occurrence, CM Yogi emphasized.
“62 crore pilgrims have visited Prayagraj Maha Kumbh so far. One of the uncommon occurrences of our century is such a large crowd at a certain time. Since ancient times, this Indian custom has led to the planning of these ceremonies at four significant locations around the country,” Yogi said.
