The ‘Pushpa 2’ star’s family and industry colleagues met at his home when Allu Arjun returned home after being granted temporary release.
Rana Daggubati and Naga Chaitanya were seen giving Allu Arjun a passionate embrace in the images that have been doing the rounds online.
Allu Arjun was taken into custody on Friday in relation to a lady who died at last week’s showing of the movie. Surekha, Chiranjeevi’s wife, also visited her nephew at Allu Arjun’s home in Jubilee Hills.
‘Pushpa 2 The Rule’ director Sukumar and actor Vijay Deverakonda were also seen visiting Allu Arjun’s house. They were seen embracing and conversing with him outside for some time.
After being detained in relation to a woman’s death at the Pushpa 2 premiere, Allu Arjun was freed from the prison where he had spent the night on Saturday morning. Despite being granted bail by the Telangana High Court, he was forced to spend Friday night behind bars.
Allu Arjun also addressed the media upon his release from prison.
“I appreciate all of the love and support,” he stated. Thank you to all of my fans. There is no need for concern. I’m all right. I will comply because I am a law-abiding person. I want to offer the family my sympathies once again. It was a regrettable event. We apologize for the incident.
Allu Arjun was arrested on December 4 after a tumultuous situation broke out at the Sandhya Theatre as he came to attend the launch of his most recent movie, “Pushpa 2: The Rule.”When Allu Arjun waved to the fans from the sunroof of his car, the scene rapidly became heated. A sizable throng had gathered to see the celebrity.According to the police, this conduct fueled the ensuing turmoil, which resulted in the death of Revathi and the injuries of her son.
Authorities said that in order to make room for the actor’s car, the throng had to be moved by the actor’s security detail.Police said Allu Arjun’s crew failed to move quickly to lessen the situation even after being warned about the threat posed by the massive audience.
The actor had expressed his profound sorrow at the unfortunate incident during a previous news conference.”It is very regrettable what happened at the Sandhya theater… I am astonished. Processing it and reacting to the issue takes hours. I was unable to mentally absorb it. I spent around ten hours on it. At the Pushpa 2 success meet, he said, “When we heard the news, we all went blank.”
Despite the court’s ruling, the actor’s legal team, headed by attorney Ashok Reddy, voiced their displeasure with the delays in Allu Arjun’s release. Reddy called the delay a “illegal detention” and threatened to file further lawsuits.
Numerous celebrities and political leaders have shown their support for Allu Arjun in response to the arrest, which has generated strong emotions.
