From December 15 to 18, Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), will go to Indonesia for a four-day official visit. With an emphasis on strengthening naval cooperation, this visit is a part of continuous efforts to further solidify India-Indonesia bilateral defense ties in keeping with the growing Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

In line with the common goal of India-Indonesia Maritime Cooperation in the Indo-Pacific, the visit highlights the two nations’ solid maritime ties.
Joint drills, port visits, and capacity-building training programs are just a few of the activities that make up the two Navies’ current maritime cooperation.
