Actress Nayanthara has requested people to stop referring to her as ‘Lady Superstar’
New Delhi: Actress Nayanthara has sent a passionate letter to her followers asking them to stop calling her “Lady Superstar” and instead address her by name. The actress thanked her followers for their “unconditional love and affection” but clarified that titles might sometimes cause a gap between her and her art.

“My life has been an open book that has always found its adornment with your unconditional love and affection,” Nayanthara said on her official X account. You have always supported me, whether it’s by giving me a pat on the shoulder when I succeed or by reaching out to help me when I’m struggling.”
Although the actress admitted that her fans’ love for her gave rise to the moniker “Lady Superstar,” she respectfully asked that they refer to her by her own name.
“I think the name is the thing I care about the most. It’s a reflection of who I am as a person, not just as an actress,” she said.

Nayanthara underlined that titles and honors might sometimes create an image that distances her from her art and the connection she has with her followers.
She thanked her admirers and shared her love of movies, which she feels unites them, as she wrapped up her letter.
The actress’s request has generated discussion among her followers, with some expressing their love for the moniker of “Lady Superstar” and many honoring her desires.
In the meanwhile, Nayanthara is working on a number of projects, such as the next Malayalam movie directed by Mahesh Narayanan, which will reunite Mohanlal and Mammootty on screen after a 16-year separation. Additionally, she will appear in Senthil Nallasamy’s period-action drama Rakkayie.
