Ajit Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has veteran actor Sayaji Shinde as a new member before the Maharashtra Assembly elections next month. The announcement was made in Mumbai, where State unit chairman Sunil Tatkare, NCP working president Praful Patel, and Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar welcomed Shinde to the party.
Ajit Pawar welcomed Shinde to the party and said that he will be one of the NCP’s main agitators for the state elections. He also mentioned that other well-known figures may also join the party in the next few days.
Relying on Shinde’s involvement, Ajit Pawar said, “Shinde will be given due respect in the party.”
Shinde claimed to have portrayed politicians in a number of motion pictures. “I was impressed by Ajit Pawar’s style of functioning,” he said. I have to be a part of the system in order to function more efficiently.”
“Sayajirao Shinde is invited to our celebration. Though I don’t see many movies, I have watched certain Sayajirao films. He plants trees around Maharashtra with his organization, according to Ajit Pawar, who also welcomed Shinde.
Shinde started his career in Marathi theater. He was born in the Satara area in western Maharashtra. ‘Shool’, a 1999 Bollywood film in which he portrayed a villain, marked his debut. He has performed in several other languages throughout the years, such as Gujarati, Bhojpuri, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Chhagan Bhujbal, the head of the NCP, commended Shinde’s varied filmography and said, “We are honored that he is connected to us. Shinde is a social activist as well.”
His roles in movies like “Shool,” “Bharathi,” “Antim: The Final Truth,” and “1: Nenokkadine” are what made him most famous. For his services to Indian film, Shinde has won several accolades, including the Tamil Nadu State Award for Best Actor.
