AAP’s Priyanka Kakkar launched a scathing attack on PM Modi for handing over house keys to 1700 people

New Delhi: AAP spokeswoman Priyanka Kakkar launched a scathing assault on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming that although he gave keys to around 17,000 individuals, what about the thousands he evicted over the last two years? She said that a large number of people had been relocated and slums destroyed in the nation’s capital by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

“PM Modi has only provided keys to around 17,000 individuals as of right now, but what about the ones he has evicted over the last year or two? In the past, the BJP has destroyed slums and uprooted residents in Delhi, where they go to take pictures, dine, and play with their kids before demolishing their slums the next day. About three lakh slum inhabitants have been rendered homeless in the last five years, and they want to get praise today by giving away 15,000 keys. PM Modi should have made bus travel free for women nationwide if Arvind Kejriwal had made it free for women in Delhi. PM Modi ought to have established more schools in the BJP-ruled states after Kejriwal constructed so many classrooms and colleges in the nation’s capital.

While Kejriwal has given away 200 units of free energy in Delhi, PM Modi ought to have given away 500 units in states where the BJP is in power. “He simply insulted Kejriwal and the Delhi populace and left,” Kakkar claimed on Friday.

Speaking at a public gathering at Ashok Vihar’s Ramlila Ground on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made fun of former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He was singled out by the prime minister for reportedly building an extravagant home for himself while serving as chief minister.

“The nation is fully aware that Modi has constructed over 4 crore homes for the impoverished but has never constructed a home for himself. “Main bhi koi sheeshmahal bana sakta.” (I could have constructed a palace for myself as well). The PM had said, “Whenever you meet and engage with slum dwellers, I implore you to make sure that you inform them on my behalf that they will undoubtedly receive pucca houses; if not today, then tomorrow.”

At the Swabhiman Apartments in Ashok Vihar, PM Modi gave the keys to the recipients of freshly built apartments for residents of Jhuggi Jhopri (JJ) clusters as part of the In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project on Friday. According to a statement, the project’s goal was to provide the people who live in Delhi’s JJ clusters a better, healthier living environment with all the services and resources they need.

Eligible recipients pay less than 7% of the entire amount spent by the government on building an apartment, which includes Rs 30,000 for five years of upkeep and Rs 1.42 lakh as a minimum contribution.
