Ahead of the assembly elections next year, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh has expressed confidence in the Delhi government’s new program, the Mahila Samman Yojana, describing it as a “masterstroke” for the party.
He said that the plan to provide women with Rs. 2100 will encourage people from all walks of life to vote for the AAP.

The Mukhya Mantri Mahila Samman Yojana in Delhi, which promises to provide women Rs 2100 a month, will turn out to be a brilliant idea.Voters from all walks of life would support the AAP,” he told the reporters.
In the 70-seat Delhi legislature, the AAP-led government currently has 58 members. Congress has zero seats, while the Bharatiya Janata Party holds seven.
AAP national convenor and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal had earlier in the day declared that tomorrow (December 23) will mark the start of registration for the “Mukhya Mantri Mahila Samman Yojana” and the “Sanjeevani Yojana” in the nation’s capital.
“There is no place where you have to wait in line. For the registration procedure, we will visit you. Teams have been established around Delhi. At a news conference, Kejriwal said, “We will assist the women in registering for the program and supplying them with cards.”

“We had also announced Sanjeevani Yojana under which the Delhi government will bear the cost for the treatment of senior citizens above the age of 60 at private or government hospitals,” Kejriwal said.
According to him, around 15 lakh senior people and 35 to 40 lakh women would benefit from the two programs.
“Our team will register people for the Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana by going door to door. Having a Delhi voter card is required for this. The AAP organizer went on, “You may visit the website and see whether your vote has been canceled or not.
