During his performance, Dhillon seemed to make a subtle shot at Dosanjh, which sparked a barrage of social media reactions from both sides.

The dispute started when Dosanjh made a playful remark about his fellow musicians at a previous performance, allegedly mentioning Karan Aujla and AP Dhillon.

The ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ actor remarked in a speech posted on Dosanjh’s social media account, “Mere aur do bhaiyon ne tour shuru kiya hai, unke liye bhi best of luck.” It’s time for independent music. Ayengi toh museebatein.

Toh museebat aati hai toh jab koi revolution aata hai. Jayenge hum apna kam karte. (Translation: “I wish my two brothers well as they go on their trip. Independent music has come of age. There will be issues. There are difficulties once a revolution starts. We’re going to keep working.”

He said, “Bharatiya sangeet ka samaye aagya hai, zor aur mehnat double kardo, jitne bhi independent artists hai.” Bharatiya kalakaar ki ticket black ho rahi hain, but pehle bahar ke kalakaar aate the unki ticket black hoti thi laakhon mein.

For locals, isi ko toh kehte hai vociferous.” (Translation: “All self-employed artists, put in twice as much effort and diligence. Now is the moment for Indian music.

Foreign performers used to charge outrageous prices for their tickets, but this is now the case for Indian performers. ‘Vocal for local’ really means this.'”

In the meanwhile, Dhillon spoke to the audience at his own Chandigarh show, bringing up Dosanjh’s previous comments.
He claimed that Dosanjh had banned him on Instagram in a social media video that went viral.

Fans and the media speculated about a possible schism between the two performers when this comment instantly went viral online.

Shortly after the performance, Dosanjh went to Instagram to address the situation. “I never blocked you,” Dosanjh responded, along to a snapshot of AP Dhillon’s account. Kalaakaran naal nahi, mere pange sarkaaran naal ho sakde aa.” (Expressed in another way: “I never blocked you. I could have problems with governments rather than artists.

Dhillon shared a second video on his own Instagram after Dosanjh’s tale, showcasing Diljit’s account’s state both before to and during the ban.

The video’s description read: “I wasn’t going to say anything, knowing I’d get backlash anyway, but at least now we know what’s real and what’s not.”

Both musicians are experiencing tremendous success in their own professions at the time of the discussion between Dhillon and Dosanjh.

Dhillon is still well-known around the world for his unique blend of Punjabi and Western musical genres.
In contrast, Dosanjh is finishing up the Indian portion of his Dil-Luminati Tour, and on December 29 of this year, he will play his last show in Guwahati.
